  • American Doctoral Dissertations™
    This enhanced database includes more than 153,000 theses and dissertations in total, including 70,000 new citations for theses and dissertations from 1902 to the present.
  • Biography in Context
    Use this database for over 400,000 biographies covering literary figures, science, multicultural studies, business, entertainment, politics, sports, government, history, current events and the arts. Indexes all print volumes of the series.
  • Books and Ebooks
    Use this to search all books and eBooks owned by Shea Library, plus books, eBooks, movies, music, and more owned by other libraries in Western and Central Massachusetts.

    Online version of the Encyclopaedia Brittanica.
  • Business Economics and Theory
    Provides access to academic journals and magazines focusing on topics in economics and related fields. The database has an emphasis on titles indexed in the American Economic Association's EconLit bibliography.
  • Business Source Premier
    The industry's most popular business research database, featuring the full text for more than 2,200 journals. Full text is provided back to 1965, and searchable cited references back to 1998.   • Chronicle of Higher Education
    Complete access to the Chronicle of Higher Education for off-campus users.
  • CINAHL Plus with Full Text
    CINAHL Plus with Full Text is a comprehensive research database that provides full text for nursing and allied health journals indexed in CINAHL Plus. Additional materials include full-text evidence-based care sheets, quick lessons and continuing education modules.
  • Cochrane Library
    The Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews (CDSR) is the leading resource for systematic reviews in health care. The CDSR includes Cochrane Reviews (the systematic reviews) and protocols for Cochrane Reviews as well as editorials. Find help for using Cochrane Library here.
  • Communications and Mass Media Collection
    Offers cover-to-cover ("core") indexing and abstracts for more than 650 journals, and selected ("priority") coverage of nearly 200 more, for a combined coverage of more than 850 titles. Includes full text for over 500 journals. Many major journals have indexing, abstracts, PDFs and searchable cited references from their first issues to the present (dating as far back as 1915). Contains a sophisticated Communication Thesaurus and comprehensive reference browsing (i.e., searchable cited references for peer-reviewed journals covered as "core").

  • Library, Information Science & Technology Abstracts
    LISTA indexes more than 580 core journals, over 50 priority journals, and nearly 125 selective journals; plus books, research reports and proceedings. Coverage in the database extends back as far as the mid-1960s. It is EBSCO's intention to provide access to LISTA on a continual basis.
